今天介绍一位黑人blues大师 Eric Gales
此君生于1974年10月29日，家乡是美国孟菲斯田纳西。4岁开始弹吉他。自小研习Jimmy Hendrix，Albert king，BB king等诸多大师的LICK与技巧。
作为左手吉他英雄，和众多blues大师绅士的外型和感觉不同的是，他时常是一身HIP HOP打扮，肥衣肥裤，大项链，颇有黑人嘻皮风范。
Gales一家兄弟都会乐器，可谓充满艺术细菌的家庭。兄弟姐妹中，数他成就最高。他本人于1990年加入Elektra Records由此正式出道。
Eric Gales的和前几天介绍的Matt schofield一样，有一个给力的Trio三人组，同样表演以EG为主弹唱皆丰富的风格。
与众多白人blues大师不同的是，他的音乐张力十足，很多节奏感更强，音色过载往往比其他大师要大，专辑里的音色时不时颇有失真的味道。但绝对是黑人感觉的blues，很多曲子跳跃感十足。而且在众多经常翻弹JIMI的大师里，个人认为他绝对是数一数二的。
GALES在近期的采访中有说他喜欢的其他大师包括Eric Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robin Trower, John Mayer, Albert King, Muddy Waters, Joe Bonamassa等。
他最近的IPOD存放着John Mayer,Jeff Beck, Derek Trucks, Joe Bonamassa等同行的MP3之类。（其实他还听Justin Bieber。。。）

其实，我最佩服的是他的即兴JAM功力。无论jazz还是blues等多种风格，都流畅无比，时刻体现出他的即兴天分。近期将上传他的即兴视频到优酷。
