上周末,AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Slash, Rush等众多摇滚明星在伦敦出席了由英国著名摇滚杂志《Classic Rock》所举办的第六届年度“Marshall”Classic Rock Roll颁奖晚会。
颁奖晚会担任主持人的是摇滚名将Alice Cooper，The Union, Alter Bridge以及Cheap Trick三支乐队在晚会现场进行了演出。吉他手Slash的个人专辑《Slash》则获得了“年度最佳专辑”的殊荣，而“年度最佳乐队”则由老牌摇滚劲旅AC/DC获得。
此外，三位传奇贝司手在当晚收获颇丰。Led Zepplin乐队贝司手John Paul Jones获得了杰出贡献奖，Black Sabbath乐队贝司手Geezer Butler则从他的乐队同伴Tony Iommi手中接过了“金属传奇奖，而Geddy Lee则代表Rush乐队领取了“当世传奇”奖。
