个人履历： Andy曾专门从事摇滚和金属的演奏技术教学。他不但是善于捕捉并掌握别人的演奏技巧，比如Andy Timmons, John Petrucci, Paul Gilbert和Adam Dutkiewicz等，同时，Andy还是一个令人难以置信的歌曲作者，你可以听听《In The Wake of Chaos》和《Machine》的solo,以及他的乐队，Scared Mother Tongue。曾推出多张教学DVD，针对重金属和摇滚乐的主音吉他独奏技巧。其干净，快速，有力，复杂的弹奏手法令不少乐迷深感配服，也把他的人气推往更被广受认同的层次。
于2004年由Andy James领衔的Sacred Mother Tongue成立，乐队风格为旋律死亡金属。2007年发行首张EP Revenge is Personal，2009年发行CD The Ruin of Man 。
